Our secret to carrying out a great theme idea is the fact that we coordinate every aspect of your event to reflect your theme … food, music, and decor, nothing escapes our attention!
We do it all, from invitations, to clean-up! If it is not here, but in your head, tell us and consider it done!
1. Western/Country – This is a very popular theme. Our décor includes tepees, horses, cactus, authentic western cookware, saloon mural, and some 8’ “bad guys”. The food is usually served family style with a “down-home” flavor. We have a rope trick expert and some of our professional actors as Western townsfolk – like the sheriff, the saloon girl, and the “hangin’ judge” Compliment this with western music and line dance instructors and you have one hoedown of a party!
2. Swing Night – How about an evening with all the class and style of New York in the late 1940’s? The war is over, the boys have come back home, and now it’s time to party! No where represented the 1940’s like New York, with its bright lights, street like, and men and women dressed to the nines, all moving to the beats blowing our of the closest Jazz and Swing club. J&T will bring back these days gone by with its professional performers, décor and lighting. Magicians, caricaturists, and fortune-tellers will line your Great White Way, providing unique street themed entertainment. Then, our dance instructors will get you started swinging like Sinatra, leading into an evening of dancing! Finally, our lighting package takes all these aspects of a great party and turns them into a true event. Our approach is eclectic, but set within the framework of a unified, coordinated thematic approach.
3. Hollywood/Oscar Night – This is an evening of glitz! We have everything from 8’ Oscar flats to free standing paparazzi cutout to a real red carpet for your VIP’s. Our talent can serve as press to capture your guests at the entrance, or they can be Hollywood types mixing and mingling during the cocktails. We even have some famous Hollywood look-alikes to add to the excitement of the evening. Or, we can help you with onstage presenters and even supply you with your engraved Oscar statues. Add to theis some upscale food and the sounds of a great dance band, and we’ll recreate Tinsel town right here on the East Coast.
4. Tropical Luau – Let our authentic hula girt set the tone for this evening. She can serve as a greeter or do an interactive performance later in the night. Wouldn’t you get a kick out of seeing some of your co-workers hula (or as least try)? We also have a comedic tropical group who perform a customized interactive sketch with your guest. Combined with our other costumed talent, palm trees, sand, and tropical birds (real and flats) we can recreate the islands so much that you will swear that you can feel the warm breezes blowing! An island band keeps th upbeat nature of this party, which only compliments the food. And with choices like Tuna Kabobs and Whole Roast Sucking Pig, you will definitely go home full!
5. Casino Night – We bring the tables, dealers and machines. All you are responsible for is bringing Lady Luck! Casino nights have become one of our most popular forms of entertainment for both private and corporate functions. We can turn any space into a mini-Vegas for your guests. Bring in some high-class food for your Vegas buffet, and then bring in Elvis for a nightclub style performance. Best of all the casino night can be combined with many of our other themes (or one you create yourself) for a completely different type of evening. For instance, how about a western casino, where you step into the back room of a saloon in the old West? Or a speakeasy casino, where you have to gamble far from the sight of the Feds? The possibilities are endless with this versatile entertainment form.
6. The Fifties – We can take you back to the time of poodle skirts and greasers by letting our décor department transform your location into a sock hop. We have a jukebox, a dancing jitterbug couple, a hot rod photo-board, and even Marilyn and James Dean. In addition, we have Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, and some dancers that will get your group up and dancin’! Food selection can reflect the taste of burgers, fries and good old diner style food. The music blasts its way right out the golden age of Rock and Roll. Long live the King!
7. The Seventies – How many times have you dreamed of dancing with John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever? Well, at our seventies parties, you can do that. We create a disco atmosphere complete with mirror ball and fog machine. Our dancers can teach the hustle and an array of dances native to the seventies. We also have bands that specialize in seventies music, including the Soul Survivors! Add in some seventies look-alikes to make celebrity appearance, and your evening is almost complete. Check out the photo-board where the guys get long hair and the girls get platform shoes for some great souvenirs. Let us do your seventies party, and you’ll be amazed at how much fun you’ll have in the Disco Decade.
8. Roaring ‘20s Speakeasy – Complete with gangsters and gun molls with spit curls, our actors will blast their way into your event carrying giveaways to dress your guest in their 20’s best. Our décor includes elegant dancing couples as well as blue shimmering drapes to give your room the speakeasy feel. We can provide you with a band that has great 20’s dance list, possibly with some modern pieces mixed in. A cabaret show is available to highlight your night – the show includes a wild Charleston contest. We can even set up some gambling equipment for your guest to play. Just hope that the Feds don’t raid the joint.
9. This is just the start – Safaris, cruise ships, toga parties, the 1960’s, futuristic, Mardi Gras, medieval and seasonal themes are all available. Or we can make your customized ideas come to life!
